Blue Monday: One Night @ The Unicorn, '66

Having spent a few Blue Mondays in Boston, we should be checking in there yet again, zeroing in 1966, a year which found electric blues in hippie ballrooms and coffee houses reaching its zenith. Coming out of Chicago's south side, the Paul Butterfield Blues Band's influence on "bringing the blues to the masses" really can't be underestimated. Today's Blue Monday installment finds the Butterfields' classic line-up holding court at Boston's Unicorn Coffee House for an evening of blues right from the beltline.
